Thai Boxing is a martial art embedded in tradition and Thai discipline often called the “art of eight limbs” because it combines the use of the fist, elbows, knees, and kicking. For example, in Boxing or Kickboxing, you only use two or four body parts to attack with, while in Thai Boxing, they also use so-called “clinching” techniques. These consist of a variety of wrestling techniques that are used to attack with your knees and elbows. That’s why it’s an effective martial art since it’s possible to use various body parts to attack from various distances.
